N. West Moss

I am sending a short piece of creative non-fiction that I thought might be of interest. I had a piece published in Hospital Drive (out of UVA School of Medicine) and was a visiting scholar there earlier this summer. My work has been published in The New York Times, Memoir Journal, and many other venues (including on Radio France International). I am a MacDowell fellow, and have received fellowships from The Virginia Center for Creative Arts and Cill Rialaig in Ireland. I am the winner of the 2013 Gold Medal from the Faulkner Society for Best Essay.
