Abstract

We share these strengths-based stories to counter the dominant negative discourse of the lazy, drunk, violent, no-good Indian. We share these stories to role model positive First Nation male identity. And finally, we share these stories to support care providers to deconstruct their own beliefs and assumptions about who First Nations men are.
