Abstract

The first poem, Colostrum, is about the hunger one feels long after infancy. It parallels the idea of breast milk/nursing and all the problems that come with nurturance.

Presbycusis is about the process of old age. It chronicles the span of life where one first accumulates a variety of emotional wealth (measured in sounds) and then the gradual taking away of each existence.
