Abstract

Mortal Selfies is a visual art series investigating a cancer diagnosis. Each image plays with the idea of the contemporary selfie while exploring different aspects of public and private text.

Diana Meredith, Visual Artist Recently left teaching at Humber College

I am a visual artist in Toronto, Canada. I recently finished teaching Visual and Digital Art at Humber College due to health reasons. My art and research looks at the body; currently that concerns the body and cancer. In 2013 I completed my MFA thesis about the experience of middle age.
