A Poem for Anatomical Donors

Abstract

In this work, I convey a likely shared experience of those who are fortunate enough to work with anatomical donors wherein there are moments of overwhelming emotion and gratitude which cannot be expressed directly to the donors themselves. This is significant because it is a shared experience and often challenging and frustrating to articulate. Additionally, the loved ones of the donors may not always have an opportunity to see the impact their loved one has made and continues to make.
