This poem explores the ongoing bereavement process of a mother who terminated a deeply wanted pregnancy due to fetal anomaly.

Erica Danya Goldblatt Hyatt, Rutgers: The State University of New Jersey

Erica Goldblatt Hyatt, DSW, MSW, MBE, is the assistant director of the Doctorate in Social Work at Rutgers University. She is an administrator, clinician, and author with over a decade's worth of experience in the field of death, dying and bereavement. Her clinical practice focuses on working with women who have terminated desired pregnancies due to fetal anomaly, as well as individuals coping with a fear of death. She is also passionate about working with adolescents.
